Today's Santosa outing was the best! Thanks to God who made this outing possible for us all. When we arrived at the top story or Vivo, expecting clear skies and nice weather... we saw the exact opposite. It was raining really heavily and we were dismayed. Ivan and i decided to start praying to god in tounges. Confessing that God would start something and leave it to die. This Santosa outing was planned by God, and we knew that if Jesus could rebuke the storms back in the past... he could still do it now. Thankfully, the clouds cleared and we had good warm, nice weather.
Well, we started things off by planning a couple of Ice breakers and Julia was in charge. First game was that we had to arrange our selves into specific groups.... it wasn't exactly fun, but it helped us to bond with one another. The next thing we had to do was to hold hands with one another in a circle and try to push a person into the pile of bags.... Funny thing.... i got out first.
Eventually the game got really rough and it turned out to be some sort of WWE action.. bodies flying every where. Then we did something else that Julia came up with which was really creative and excellent... Well done for that! :)
After the ice breakers, we moved on to play hand ball. I tell you...IT WAS AWESOME!!!!
i had never played hand ball before... but my team had team spirit and we played really well :)
some of us got injured, but it was all in the name of good fun! Then after we moved on to play frisbee.
Bryan was really anxious to ride bikes, so we went down and rented bicycles to ride. I had to ride the double seater bike because nick didn't know how to cycle. Lemme tell you... riding with a person behind you... not easy, not easy at all. But nick had a good time in the back, as i struggled to maintain control of the bicycle in the front. Bryan had some really cool tricks to show us, and they were really neat. Nothing that i can ever do.
Jenzi joined us a while later, and we were all tired from the games. The guys however, decided to show their servanthood to a woman and not let her waste her money and time, brought jezi to play volleyball.
Finally we said our farewells, i had to leave for practice while the others stayed behind to have lunch. the list below shows the names of the people who came.
