I was figuring what to post yesterday... had a really big headache. Any ways, today i just thought that i should post about the happenings of September 11 2001.
On that day, terrorism proved its significance in the society of men. The attack was some sort of an "inevitable occasion". The lives of many Americans were lost, families lost their fathers and mothers. The nation was at a moment of heartbreaking. However, what proved to be more fearful to the world was that even the terrorists could infiltrate the US defence and bring down a world super power in mere minutes. One crash was all it took... just one.
The world today, has picked up its armor and ready to take on any attacks going its way. Terrorism is no longer just a threat, it has become a way of life for the world. Even when we try to avoid it, our mind subconsciously tells us that it is still going on. Terrorism can be prevented, but no one ever knows when it will strike.... that is the ear of mankind.
So often we can take life as it is, never looking back to recall a past moment when we have hurt someone... not caring if that person was hurt or not. Terrorism strikes in the quiet of the night, still and like a bandit that creeps into the house of another. How many of us who are reading this feels guilty right now... for the past hurts that you have caused some one.
Did the terrorists who hijacked the plane say sorry? Did they ever think about the consequence of their actions... how they would hurt the millions of families? Did they ever stop to think that they were doing the wrong thing?
the answer: No.
lemme ask you:
have you ever done something to someone and hurt them so bad, but you never apologised? Have you thought about the way you speak to your parents when you shouted at them? Have you thought about the grieve you would cause your loved ones when you do something that you know that you shouldn't do?
If your answer is no for at least one... you are a terrorist in another person's life.
Terrorism is not confined to just the guns and violence, it expands to the mental and spiritual realm as well. However, unlike real world terrorists, we have a second chance in life.
Take the opportunity well, we can all say sorry.
