Yesterday... Today

Hey guys,
Yesterday was a long day... and so was today, but both days have been really good. Well i start off first by recalling the unusual happenings of yesterday..........

My aunt came over and drove us to SP to watch my sister's UN performance, apparently she was doing a belly dance and a "Rasia saiya hey" (forgive me for spelling wrongly) song number. So i went there and sat in the very same auditorium that i was in the orientation for SP :) memories do last a life time.

The UN performance opened up with the flag bearers, in Rachel's international school you would expect almost every nationality of students, and that was exactly what it was. The flag bearers carefully marched down the stairs and finally all ended on stage. My sister was representing the flag of her school, which was a great honor and i am proud of her!

The headmaster, is seriously weird man... He is plump and has a heavy British accent. When he walked from his seat onto the stage, he said: "Wow, its a bloody long walk up here... if it was any longer i would have had to pack a lunch." ... well, i thought it was funny... :)
Any ways, the performance started off with the country China. The tradition of the Chinese were observed through: LION DANCE.. I've gotta say, they were pretty amazing. To know that all the performers were students, it wowed me that they could execute the tricks really well. Good job ISS students. of course i enjoyed the rest f the performances... i shall not say the rest, it takes too long to type. Any ways, my sister turned up on stage to belly dance. I was kinda weirded out by my sister... i had never seen her dance before. And right beside me, my mom was laughing all the way... talk abut positive moral support :] Besides all that... i enjoyed the language learning skit and the Japanese dance the most!

OK now, today....

Today, marked the official end of School prayer group for the sec 4 express. but a new beginning for the next year's cohort. I especially wanna thank Leroy and Keli for joining me in this special occasion. It really meant a lot to me:) More of a spiritual sense then a physical sense.

My 2 years in ACS BR have been extremely tremendous. I have learnt a lot from my experience in this school. for those who have been in ACS already for 4 years, you guys have been blessed! ACS is NOT A BAD SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!! it has been a pride and a joy to be in the same school with such wonderful friends. To live each moment of failure and success together. Nothing beats making bonds in a once foreign school. I forgive any one who has caused me harm over the past years, no grudge, no hate, all love :)

Well we arrived in assembly late. We had 2 choices: 1. Zao to class and hide from DM
2. Go to assembly and have the last (and hopefully not least) assembly with the entire school.  If you know me, i am a sentimental character... so i chose the second choice:)

We heard the last devotion and said the prayer. Besides that we were handed late pink slips... knowing today was the last day of school, i decided to screw around a bit and put my name as BOB TAY.. then i cancelled it and put my real name in the end... so much for screwing around.
Ah... camera suck what to do?

so we went to see the Dm and he had only one thing to tell us: "dont do this in O' levels" and he let us off... (cool)

so blah blah blah.

At the end of school, in the very last period. our class ran into trouble... again
The room which madam Olivia had let us use as home room was utterly destroyed over the past 3 weeks that we had been in there. The couch was broken, and madam was pissed. So, she decided to tell the class off and and a couple of guys were pissed off also. I mean, if the guys had a clean conscience, they wouldnt have had to be so pissed off. Olivia Li had a right to be angry and had the right to yell at us, but we didnt have the right to talk back to her... or even yell back, and that was what we did exactly. You know, im not trying to be a total nazi about the class, but it was really out of hand. Guys should have just kept quiet and let her vent her anger... she is a woman for crying out loud!! never talk back to a woman when she is in a bad mood.... In the end, she left the class with faint evidence of tears in her eyes. That was not the best way to end the school year... totally not worth it at all... too much drama for me man.

And then Mr. Mak bought us OREO cookies!!! although he didn't want to say, i know that he did it for us all. He, in truth has been an awesome teacher.... but a bit too frank for me... non the less, i appreciate him all the same. Well done mr. mak, you survived the ACS trial, now yoou are ready for the bigger and better things. More O.U.T> OUT, and YOU ARE FINIIISHEEED! Mr. Mak, your litle mind games that you have played with us have succeeded only with some of us.. but in the end we cannot deny the fact that you have planned every thing and masterminded everything to its every intricate details... your ALI BABA and BLACK CURRENTS, however never cease to amaze me of your creativity in naming others... perhaps one day you should write your own book: 101 ways to scold students.

Alright guys, cell group was great and many more to come! Service still needs more people!!!
