Hey guys,
I finished off my round robin today. And didn't fare so well. I was put into a really tough pool, and i had to play 4 varsity players. Coach told me that i was put into the pool because i did really well in the first pool. Well, i can only sit and hope that i will be accepted into the school team.
Day Four Round Robin
I played Tim. He is a varsity player and hits with consistency and power. He owned me 0-4. I made a lot of unforced errors and didn't follow through with my serve, costing me my service game.
I played Josh again. He hits with power and has good speed. I was serving lousy again, and he owned me 0-4
Tennis has become my personal battle now. i can only determine how far i can go. Its not the opponent, its how i healthy i am mentally. Confidence is an extra boost, determination is the power. I have been reassured by peers that i will make the team, i can only hope that they are right. Focus shaunnie, focus...
