Hey guys,
I played my first singles match today. I was up 3-0 in 10 minutes, then every thing fell apart from there. I started serving like shit and double faulted an entire game. He was up 4-0. I was able to break his serve when i was down 40-0, but was not able to hold my own serve. I cannot believe how many times i double faulted in this game. Atrocious... I have been doing so well in my serves until today. So the game score became 5-6 and i was up. He broke my serve and I was 6-6. I broke his serve and i was up 7-6. Now i knew i had to HAD TO!!!! Win my serve. I ended the match with a down the line winner. Final score 8-6. I had won my first ever singles match in a tournament. It wasn't a very good win, but i won nonetheless. The 4 day weekend is coming up, and i hope i get to spend it with my friends. Probably go watch a rodeo or something... that special person has to go with me!
