Hey guys,
School has officially started. Lets say we have only 6 weeks of school left until I become a senior next year. As of right now, i have a B average. Which is not so fantastic. So, the problem is... i actually have to study. Ha ha, took a genius to figure that one out (not talking about nick, which of course is in another category of genius add the lazy) So i need to improve my Calculus which i have significantly managed a D in, so good job Shaun, half way there. And of course my biology, in which i flunked a huge test in. I probably need to start studying more... that means that i have been studying (Darice you can relax now) but not as much as I'm supposed to. Seems to me that time is abundant here, one thing America sure has is freedom and lots of it. You can put it in a cup and get free refills till you drop... or maybe puke out some more freedom and come back for more.
If you don't understand what i was talking about, you're OK. Trying to understand my language is like understanding why some people think global warming is fake.. Beats the heck out of me. You know, today in French class. My teacher said i have a really nice voice. Suggestion was that perhaps i should record my voice reading a book and sell it to blind people. That's right madam Proctor, teach me to leech off disabled people with my God given abilities. That's right teaching for you folks! In all honest truth, i love all my teachers here... yes, even the most dreaded English teacher. I have grown quite accustomed to this place. Maybe even think of pursuing my studies here. What the heck, maybe not just Arizona, maybe even Washington... or Oregon. Who knows the bountiful possibilities this wondrous place of wonder holds for every individuals. The home of the free, is indeed the land and place for opportunities. You will never know until you have experienced it for yourself.
To my friends in Singapore. Live out your life the way you want to live it. But on the way, take heed of wise advice... never stop short of achieving your true goal. Any who. Prom is drawing closer... and I'm thinking if i should get a hair cut. How should i wear my hair that night? Plans are the the group (couple 1: Devan & Marina...couple 2: Shaun & Lisa.... couple 3: Tim & Ellen) The guys are going to be picked up by the limo (compliments of Tim's parents :] ) and one by one the guys are going to receive the girls in the most romantic way possible. My plan is to go up to Lisa's door and knock. When she opens, give her a rose and the corsage and bring her to the Limo like a gentleman would. Once all the girls are picked up. We go over to the golf course near marina's house to take group pictures. Then, the limo would bring us to Michelangelo for a nice dinner (carefully eating of course) Then after go to prom at the Hilton. A carefully thought out plan by the guys, and lead my moi (not to brag of course)
Tennis season is also drawing to a near close. I'm rather sad... of course. I've grown rather fond and connected to this lively bunch of men. Next year, senior. Year after that... NS. I'm starting to develop a faint distaste for national service. It's for the good of the country, and i am very patriotic. Well, I reckon it will be an experience that others would never get to have. That's right... be jealous.
If you feel this might be a farewell, that I'm leaving the world behind, that I've forgotten you. It is not so. forgive my incapability to accommodate your emotions or even allow my self to be made more simply: I love it here
