this week's cell group is going to be stepped up to another level. We are..... moving to Eunice's condo function room. :) Hmm... this change in venue may cost a sacrifice for the people in the east, but i think all of us love the cell group enough to get over the distance. Darice seems to be really looking forward to a change in the cell group, especially in the areas of the CGC's. I think she is right. We haven't really realize it but we have been slowly floating apart from one another. We may be in the same cell group, but relationships can get distant if we don't put effort into it.... (this applies to BGR and Church).... I believe as all of us take initiative to call one another we can grow closer. "People don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care"
We can call each other to pray, talk, and even hold a meeting. or else we can visit each other at homes and in schools, and Ivan's working place. Meet each other once in a while to bond. Yea, life is so simple like this... but we don't always like to lift our lazy butts to do these things. Get off your couch and do some thing.

(name here): Fine.
Shaun: Oh, thats interesting...* awkward silence.
(name here): .....* more silence....
Shaun: Ok (name here) just calling to see how you were doing. Any thing going on in school right now?
(name here): Not really..... *silence....
Shaun: ok then, so do you want to go to cell group this week?
(name here): * thinking.... no la, i have some thing on on that day.
Shaun: .........* don't know what to say...... Ok lor, see you in church?
(name here): hmm.....maybe, i tell you later.
Shaun: *happy, elated, joyful, supercalifragilisticaspialidociouse, chose one.... ok then. bye.

ever had the impression that that was the best you could do...Wrong. You see, when we have the glory of god. His speech will be our speech, his confidence will be our confidence. So when we put God into the picture, here is how our conversations should sound like.
Shaun: Hey (name here), how are your studies going?
(name here): ok la.... i am having my prelims now.
Shaun: Wow, I'm also in the midst of my prelims. The papers are quite tough so far... how are yours?
(name here): mmm.... its ok i guess, but my math was really difficult. I have alot of trouble with my A-math.
Shaun: Oh ok. I am pretty confident in my math, why not we meet up after the prelims and study together. Maybe you can help me in my sciences, i heard from Darice that your science is really good.
(name here): No la.... ok only... but where do you want to meet?
Shaun: Any where that is suitable for you lor. I'm ok with any thing one. Maybe around the city?
(name here): ok. That would be good. Thanks man.
Shaun: Hey, no problem. It is better to stick to each other, especially during exam periods...a study buddy can really help alot. So this friday will i see you at Eunice's house for cell group?
(name here): Wha... a bit far lei. I live all the way in the east.
Shaun: Hmm... why not i meet you up in Doby Gought mrt station so we can get out and take a bus together? I dont like traveling alone either.
(name here): Yeah, sure.. that would be good. I see you on friday then. What time do yuo want to meet?
Shaun: Why not we meet at 3' o clock?
(name here): sure. see you there.
Shaun: Alright man, i see you on friday. Take care.
(name here): Bye Shaun.
You see how far we can go if we show GENUINE concern, instead of just asking how is life. We can all dwell a bit deeper into life and ask about specific issues that we know is common with them. Also, a little help goes a long way. offer a service to the friend and he/she will return the favor.
