today was a really exciting day for me! I woke up in the morning and felt really horrible at first, then i made my way to school, yawning and stuff. I guess sleeping with a sweat shirt on isn't a good idea, especially if it hasn't been washed in months.... So any ways, i went to school and waited for Pastor Chee Kiang to come. Leroy came and both of us went to get pastor. pastor had brought Kenneth and Willy along with him to help us out a little. After we met, we quickly went to the school administrative office, while Leroy took Willy around the school for a tour. The rest of us went to the principle's office, and we saw him there waiting for us.
The talk went really well and these was they talked about.
- City Harvest Church (how it works)
- Barker Road Methodist Church (pastor knew people from there)
- The school prayer group (how we are doing)
- Men's ministry.
- 13 september. (the principle is holding a father's prayer meeting, pastor is going)
- Revival for school through caring system.
so that was all they talked about. I want to thank pastor for taking time off his busy schedual to meet with my principle:) It really made my principle feel that he is not alone in revival!
Then after the meeting, we brought pastor around to see the school and he got a chance to meet some of the prayer group people. Then i thought that it would be a good idea for pastor to meet up with Olivia Li, becasue she was the one who started the school cell group. So they meet and this was what pastor said:
Pastor: Hi nice to meet you. ... he holds out his hands to shake her hands.
Olivia: Oh hi, sorry i can't shake your hands because i just licked my fingers..
WHAT?!?!?!? jezz... talk about the first impression man.
But after she washed her hands it was just smooth sailing for us all. These was what they talked about.
- Church
- School cell group (that i was leading it)
- Evangelism (illegaly and what nots)
- She was reaching out to sec 3. ( i used this opportunity to ask olivia li to introduce me to them. I also found out that she had alot of sec 3 boys that she knows!)
- How i am going to go out with the sec 3's
THis talk with olivia really surprised me because it opened doors for me to reach out to my fellow sec 3's. I believe that this year is going to be a year of revival for ACS br. Thank you Jesus:)
